My earliest memory is of laying in my crib watching the light play on the curtains as they fluttered in the breeze.

How beautiful the world is!

As I have journeyed through this life, a pattern, a texture, a color, will catch my eye and return me to that moment of remembered first bliss. 

Now that my children are grown and gone, I have, at last, the time to capture (and share) those Pockets of Magic.

What is the means by which nature has the power to comfort or inspire?

How does an unusual light, a juxtaposition of forms or a brilliant color distill into a single moment, all that makes life a glory?

The power of those Pockets of Magic is what my lens seeks to reveal.
